Neighborhood
The house is situated above the Zadlaščica River. It’s a perfect base for hiking or exploring Triglav National Park by bike. A little further on, you’ll find Tolminske Ravne, the highest village accessible by car. From there, you can explore mountain trails leading to Planina Razor, Planina Kal, and the peaks of Tolminski Migovec, Tolminski Kuk, Vrh Škrbine, Globoko, Vogel, and more. It is a must to stop by Planina Razor for some good local food (jota, skutni štruklji, and local herbal spirits/schnapps..).
Access
From Tolmin, head towards Žabče and Tolminske Ravne. As you start descending on the road, be mindful of a sharp left turn downhill. Continue straight through this turn, and you will soon find parking and the Juaniz cabin on the left side below. Follow the steps to the entrance of your vacation home.
