Drežnica is a village located 5 km from Kobarid, serving as an excellent base for hiking and cycling tours or as a stopover on long-distance trails such as the Peace Trail and the Alpe Adria Trail. From Drežnica, you can take trips to Krn, Krasji vrh, and other peaks. Nearby, there are also two natural rock climbing walls. Visitors can enjoy the Sopot and Krampez waterfalls or even bathe in the latter’s pool. Not far from Kobarid, the Nadiža River provides a delightful swimming experience, and the adrenaline Soča River is even closer.
In Drežnica, you will find a shop and a tavern, and a tourist farm is located in a nearby village. The great pride of our village is the pilgrim church of the Heart of Jesus.
